Difference between 4-axis and conventional
PTJ Manufacturing Shop is a professional manufacturer dedicated to high-precision cnc processing. Its cnc precision processing workshop includes cnc CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, vertical machining centers, CNC machine tools, CNC cutters and other CNC CNC machine tools. Precision processing of various aluminum alloys, copper alloys, stainless steels, poms, profiles, sheets and carbon steel. The product coverage covers medical equipment, optical components, robot parts, optoelectronic parts, drone parts, auto parts, communications and shaft accessories, etc., |
PTJ Manufacturing summarizes the product processing experience for many years and combines the actual CNC machining machine to analyze the difference between the 4-axis cnc machining center and the conventional cnc machining.
Ordinary CNC machining As long as the XYZ three axes, the machining center that adds one more rotating shaft to the XYZ three-axis is called the four-axis CNC machining, and the machining center that adds two rotary axes is called the five-axis CNC machining center.
The four-axis machine CNC machining has three different added rotary axes, which are identified as A, B, and C. The A-axis is an axis that rotates around the X-axis, and so on, the B-axis corresponds to the Y-axis, and the C-axis corresponds to the Z-axis. The three rotating axes of ABC are also called the dividing head. The CNC machining of the four-axis machine adds an indexing head to the three-axis machining center. The details are added to which axis to see the customer's demand.
In the same way as the CNC machining of the four-axis machine, the five-axis machining center is only selected on the three ABC rotating shafts, which can be AB, AC, BC. It is precisely because the five-axis machining center has one more rotating shaft than the four-axis machining center, so the five-axis CNC machining center can process the workpiece four-axis machining center, and the four-axis CNC machining center can process the workpiece five-axis machining. The center is capable of processing.
The CNC machining of the four-axis machine can process some complex curved surfaces through a rotary axis and the three linear axes of XYZ. The five-axis machining center has one more indexing head than the four-axis machining center, so it can pass two rotating axes and XYZ. The three linear axes are linked together to process more complex spatial surfaces.
